As a Sr. Product Designer at Medal.TV, I worked reporting directly to the VP of Product, and eventually, directly to the CEO. For each sprint, I would get paired with a PM to work in a specific area of the platform. My biggest impact was on the Desktop feed, video editor, cross-platform profiles, and the initial work on our Mobile app.

As the company grew, I worked with the joining team and on the product integration of GifYourGame after its acquisition, harnessing their highlight-capturing technology to be used in our powerful Video Capture software. I aided in integrations with companies such as Microsoft (Xbox), designing mockups for initial company agreements, taking into account the guidelines for both companies’ branding and feature usage.

Other day-to-day responsibilities included working closely with the CEO and VP of Product in exploring new features using experimental emergent technologies (NFTs, Crypto, Automation, AI, among others), regular upkeep and updating of our Design System, and working closely with the PMs creating specs for our Development Team, as well as regularly meeting with engineers working on my designs to answer any questions that might arise, and adapt changes if needed.
